Castle Wars - Simple Strategy

There are lots of games named Castle Wars, but this is one that has something especial... We know that the words "simple" and "strategy" are hard to mix, but this game made it!

This casual game is so simple, but sometimes can be hard. You will need a good amount of strategy to play it, but differently to other strategy games, you won't need so much time to play it. So, is a nice option to play while you are waiting something to finish on your computer ;D.

The Game is by Arcade Tribe, they have several casual games like this one to play online with other players, in your short free times!
But beware, these short and simple games sometimes can be so addictive, that you spend more time on them than with a longer game! ;D

American McGee Alice - A Horse forever

Remember the chess puzzles in the Pale Realm of American McGee Alice?
I found a bug in the Horse part... D:

Well, if you don't remember, I'm talking about that part where you turn into a Horse piece of chess, and then enter a chess table-like ground where you have to move like the chess Horse to turn again into Alice.

In the screenshot, you can see some arrows in the ground pointing where you can move with your chess horse. But if you manage to pass between 2 arrows without using the movements that they suggest (passing diagonally in the corner), you can break the puzzle and be a horse forever! D:

You won't see the arrows anymore and will be free to move wherever you can and want to in horse form, but you won't be able to turn into Alice anymore. Sometimes you'll be able to attack, sometimes not. So, if you are lucky enough you'll maybe be able to go on a little in the game, but you will finally note that it is impossible to continue your game like this... hopefully you have some saves with Alice form to start again the horse puzzle!... or you will be just a Horse forever!

Here you can see some screenshots exploring the Pale Realm with the Horse Forever bug =D...

This bug is not useful at all, so you better don't try it... you just will be loosing your time D: ... xD

Have a nice day! =)

Dragon Quest 2 - A Second Prince of Samaltria

I found a bug in the Snes version of Dragon Quest 2 (The Dragon Quest I & II snes remake), where you can find a second Prince of Samaltria (or Cannock, for the Dragon Warrior fans)...

I still haven't discovered which events cause this, but I have come up with this bug almost at the end of the game, I mean, having all the crests and preparing for going to Hargon's castle.

If you find this second Prince, and you talk to him, he will join your party.

But you wont get this second Kain to your party. You will have just one Prince of Samaltria again, but you will loose the princess!!!

The Prince of Samaltria stays with his status...

But you won't be able to get the Princess of Moonbrooke again... so you better have a save with her in your party if you want to try this bug, but later continue your game with her.

Since we all know you can end the game without the Prince of Samaltria if you let him cursed when he falls in the inn in Beran, this bug that let you get rid of the Princess can be useful if you want to attempt a final battle just with the Prince of Midenhall (Lorasia) and the Prince of Samaltria, ending the game without the princess... ;D

I still have not tried this ending without the Princess, 'cause I like her magic power, but I will try it probably soon, and if I find something strange I will post it here.

Vagrant Story - Sqaure?

This is just a stupid thing, but isn't it odd that in the credits of Vagrant Story from Square Soft, it says SQAURE instead of SQUARE xD?

It's kinda funny... were they drunk when typing the credits for the game?... or is this Sqaure thing another part of Square Corporation, just like Squartz?

I don't think so... it just seems a typing problem. But anyway it's odd that they didn't notice that ugly error before the release of the game.

Vagrant Story - The infamous Kiltia Puzzle

It seems there is a lot of people that has problems when solving the puzzle in the room "Those Who Drink The Dark" inside the Temple of Kiltia, where you have an unreachable door upside a wall, and no way to climb up. So, here you have a walkthrough with screenshots for the solution.

As this puzzle is hard to solve, it is also hard to explain ;D... but i'll try my best. You can make any question of this or any other Vagrant Story puzzle by leaving a comment.

Well, let's put our joysticks to work! :D

This is your first escenario:
Note that in this screenshots, the door you want to reach is colored red in the map.

All you need to do, is to move the higher box closer to the door you want to reach, but to do this, you'll need to make a space between that box and his original spot, so that way you can push the box to the place you need it.

Then, our first step will be destroy the box the screenshot shows, so you can move the box next to it.

Then you can place the other box as it shown here:

Now, you can move the box that is upon the other, to upper floor where there is already a box alone, as you can see here:

You need to make sure to put this two boxes a way you can later move them to reach the door, cause you are going to use these boxes to make that space i told you before.

Then, you need to destroy the box you placed down there before, and then get the box next to this one out of that place:

So that way you can make this:

So, if we take the door we want to reach as north, you'll have to move first the box above to the north, and then, the box that was below to the west, then you can move freely the box that was above to the north again...

Until you place it as this shot shows:

Then repeat that process for the other box you placed before in the south upper floor.

At this moment, you can place the boxes this way:

Then all you need to do now is place the upper box there to the west, then, the same one to the north until you reach that damn wall!

Now you can climb with no problem to the door =) ...

And there you have it, we have reached that infamous door!

Inside there awaits you a Minotaur, some good items, and the great Silver Key! =)

Good Luck!

Dragon Quest II - The Sun Crest

For those having problem finding the Sun Crest in the Snes remake version of Dragon Quest 2, well... here u have the tip ;D

Remember that guy that tells you that the Sun Crest is located in the Fire Monolith?

Well the Fire monolith is one of those two Monoliths with the three teleporters. The one with the three fire pots. =)
Here you can see a screenshot of the exact location. It's just in the right tree. (In the Nes version there was no tree, but the location was the same =D )

If you still can't find this crest. Here is the location of the monolith in the map.

This is maybe the harder crest to find, but if you have problem with another one. Here is a list with all the locations ;)...

1-. Moon Crest - Fight to entertain the King in Osterfair and he will give it to you.
2-. Star Crest - Follow a guy in the tower south of Alefgard.
3-. Sun Crest - Find it in Fire Shrine/Monolith.
4-. Water Crest - Use the Jailor's Key in Hamlin and search in the upper right corner of the Gremlins Jail.
5-. Life Crest - Find it in a chest inside the cave to Rhone.

Have a nice Dragon quest journey =)

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King - More puff-puff

Like the other puff-puff post, here we have another one from Dragon Quest. This is Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, where you get again one of those strange but funny classic puff-puff scenes.

In this Dragon Quest game you can go to the club called "Le club Puff-Puff":

There you get a puff-puff proposal by a beautiful girl...

And like always, they don't want to let you see...

But ...hey! That was a fake puff-puff, you damn girl!

She fakes you, and she even dare to invite you for another one >=(!

And here you have an extra:
The comments from the party! xD

These screeenshots were taken by Vmike from the IGN community, and he lent them to Vg-shots.

Dragon Quest II - Want a puff-puff?

Old School RPGs also have their erotic moments!
If you had fantasies with the FF4/FF2(US) dancers, or with the girl in the bar who tries to have a good time with Cyan in FF6/FF3(US) (lol...) ...well, here you can alucinate ;)!

haha... Here u have a nice moment with a cute girl, if you say "yes" to her proposal... but they turn off the lights =(!

Then she stops and say thanks to you, and also ask you to come for another puff-puff whenever you want to! xD

Note that if you say her "no" when she makes the puff-puff proposal, then she comes up with a funny quote:

Well, if u are a Dragon Quest gamer, you already know that the puff-puff thing is common in the Dragon Quest saga ;) !

Final Fantasy VII - Beating Teioh

In the Chocobo Racing game, sometimes you see an oponent called Teioh. He is a Mountain-River black chocobo with more than 1000 stamina, and a great speed. Although it is hard to beat... He is not invincible!

Most people say you need a Black or Golden Chocobo to beat this motherf***** Teioh, because that way you won't get slow in the water and mountain parts of the course... But as you see, that is not necesary... with a nice amount of stamina, and switching the control to manual and to auto when needed, you can beat him with just a yellow chocobo.

Here u can see a shot of a beaten Teioh...

Just give it a try! =)

American McGee Alice - Walking On The Walls

I found a Trick in the PC videogame American McGee Alice that lets u walk in the walls... You don't need to be so much skilled to do it, and it can be very useful to find shortcuts or to scape battles when u are in trouble. But this works only in a few walls, not all the walls of the game... (That's why i think it is not a glitch, but just a hidden help made intentionally by the programmers) ...just try it if u see some path that u can't reach, but that could be useful...

Here is a useful shortcut I found when i discovered the "walking on the walls" thing.
Do u remember that hollow tree in the Wonderland Woods, that u visit in the "Dry Landing" chapter?...
Well, inside that tree u need to climb up to get out through a door-like hole, but if u get out through the "window-like" hole above, then u can jump up the other "wall" outside, to use a nice shortcut wich lets u avoid the annoying battles that u encounter if u use the normal path...
(well, "annoying battles" just if u are playing in the hard or nightmare modes xD)

To reach that "window-like" hole, u can walk on the wall from the platform where u get the item that turns Alice into a half-demon beast...

To walk in the wall all u need to do is to keep pressing the directional buttons to the wall when walking where u go...

When u have reached the window, all u need to do now is jumping up the earth-wall in front of u, then u can run free of enemies to the falling earth-bridge scene and continue ur journey...

I uploaded a video of this trick to youtube, so u can see better how to do it...
